3. How we use it
We use your data to provide the app, personalise the suggested session, manage your subscription, keep the service secure, measure and improve it, answer your requests and meet legal obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving the service, your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertising platforms. We use service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect your data at least as we do and to use it only to provide their service to us:
- Google Firebase — accounts, database, crash reports.
- RevenueCat — subscription status.
- Amplitude — product analytics, including your onboarding answers (areas you want to work on, positions, goals, available time, age range), without your email and without your session feedback.
- Apple — sign-in, purchases and app distribution.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will tell you.
5. Where your data is stored
Our providers store data in the United States and may process it in other countries. Data protection rules there may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons. Data held only on your phone is removed when you delete the app.
7. Your choices and rights
- In the app: change your preferences, turn off reminders, and delete your account and its data.
- On request: ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw a consent. Write to support@untenseapp.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we answer within the time the law sets.
- Mexico: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO) and revoke your consent at the same address.
- California: you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
- United Kingdom and Europe: you may also complain to your data protection authority, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Children
Untense is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will announce important changes in the app or by email before they take effect.
